TrustComponent is a platform for trust and reliability on the web. It started as TrustCaptcha — our GDPR-compliant, EU-hosted CAPTCHA — and has grown into a platform of several products that share one account, one team, and one billing and governance model.

This documentation covers all of them. If you are only here for the CAPTCHA, head straight to Get Started with TrustCaptcha. If you are new to the platform, read on.

The products

GDPR-compliant, privacy-first CAPTCHA that protects forms and flows from bots and spam — without puzzles.

Monitor your services from multiple locations, get alerted when something breaks, and keep customers informed with public status pages and incidents.

Validate VAT and business IDs against official registries — one-off, in batches, or on a recurring schedule with webhook notifications.

Each product can be used entirely on its own. You do not need the others to get value from any single one.

How everything fits together

Your account is personal — one login for everything, with your own sign-in and security settings.
Every product you use lives in a project. A project holds one or more modules — CAPTCHA, Monitoring, VAT Checker — and everything they share: the team and its roles, billing, add-ons, contracts such as the DPA, the audit log, API keys and webhooks. See Projects.
Add-ons extend a project — support with guaranteed response times, governance features for larger teams, or extras for a single module.
An agency is optional. Agencies, software companies and consultancies use it to manage the projects of their clients with one team. See Agencies.

Is there an API? Yes. Every product exposes a small public REST API, and API keys and webhooks are managed per project. See the API overview.
